Introduction

Social skills are a kid's ability to resolve conflicts and get along with others. Humans are social animals - without social skills, a child will struggle to succeed. Dr. Shure's "I Can Problem Solve" approach teaches kids social skills in fun ways like dialogue, games and activities. It shows them how to handle everyday beefs with friends, teachers and parents, think up solutions and consider consequences. They learn to see other folks' perspectives, so they can get along and grow into socially skilled, confident people.
